On January 12, 2026, patient presented with severe Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD). Bear is a 14-year-old, neutered, male Siberian Husky. Symptoms included lower back pain, back leg placement issues with nail dragging, and would collapse at times with stairs. Neurologist believed surgery would cause more harm than good. Prednisone provided slight relief but resulted in severe side effects. At the discretion of the veterinarian, 2.0 cc of AlphaFlo® was implanted bilaterally in the epaxial muscle lumbo-sacral and intraperitoneal.
On February 14, 2026, 33 days after AlphaFlo® implantation, improvement was reported by the owner. Dog was able to stand and walk.
On February 19, 2026, 38 days after AlphaFlo® implantation, significant improvement was reported by the owner, and the dog can be seen running.
